True love is unconditional. It is a creative process that always leads to positive change. Look at the creations of the universe. The beauty of the universe and everything it has created. Isn’t this the best example of true love!
Are you loving yourself in the true way? Is your love propelling your life into the creative process of change? Does your love for yourself bring you better health, more happiness, and more freedom?
When you love yourself unconditionally, you look at yourself as though you are looking at the most beautiful thing in the world. Are you wondering how it is possible? If you are, come back into your heart, the deepest place within yourself, and settle into this amazing space. Feel the spaciousness within. Feel the calmness within, in this moment. Enjoy this beautiful feeling, this wonderful state of being. It is actually not just a feeling. This is the real you. Come and meet yourself and get to know yourself. Your life is truly the most beautiful thing in the world. How can you not love yourself unconditionally?
“But how can I love the other side of myself”, you may ask? The side that experiences pain, that you feel you have little control of, that you have wanted to change but haven’t had great success so far. You just don’t feel that beautiful when this side shows up. Perhaps we can look at this from another angle. How do you treat a child who is throwing a tantrum? Do you stop loving her? Do you dislike her? Do you criticize her? Do you think she is not a worthy person? Do you punish her? Or, do you try to understand her and continue to love her no matter what? You try to help her calm down in a way that can help her see her own strength and autonomy. You help her feel loved and see that there is no need to seek more love. Isn’t this how you can treat yourself?
Unconditional love is a manifestation of wisdom, the wisdom of your True Self and the universe. Wisdom brings clarity and growth to life. Unconditional love does not mean doing anything you feel like just to satisfy your desires or meet your expectations. When other people behave this way, we know healthy boundaries are necessary. We know that feeding their patterns is not beneficial for them. Isn’t it the same with ourselves? We need to set healthy boundaries for ourselves so we don’t feed our own patterns – patterns such as self-centeredness and fixed expectations. They only create problems and cause damage to life.
Facing ourselves honestly is the highest form of self-love. This is true love. What comes with it is the creative process of changing what is not serving our lives, especially the unhealthy patterns. We know this is true love because its outcome is better health, more happiness, and more freedom.
True love ALWAYS leads to positive change!
