The Development of Ren Xue Education

Bringing Ren Xue teachings to children, young people, and their families has always been an important goal for Ren Xue.  Over the next three years Yuan Tze, Ren Xue’s founder, will be working with Ren Xue teachers, our wider community, and experts in the field to create Ren Xue Education. Based on the wisdom of Ren Xue, this new education paradigm will nurture young lives in a truly supportive environment in order to preserve the innate purity of the heart and foster the healthy development of human potential.

Its evolution will be a process led by Dao, co-created with the community, and integrated with the development of Ren Xue’s first international training centre currently underway in Golden Bay, New Zealand.  Its shape and content will come from Yuan Tze’s three-course series 2026-2028, and many conversations held over that time.  The work to build all the necessary components for Ren Xue Education, including training and a potential pilot school, will start after the training center is in place.  This could happen as early as late 2028, but there are many factors involved in a large project like this. You can stay updated with the development of Ren Xue Centre Australasia here.

At this early stage it is clear that Ren Xue Education will consist of school education with children and family education that sees parents as co-educators and nurtures a family environment that supports healthy growth for children.  We will need to recruit tertiary qualified teachers to deliver much of the school education curriculum, so a training program based on the Ren Xue curriculum will be developed to support this.  Qualified Ren Xue teachers will have many opportunities to contribute to the delivery of training and to both the school and family education streams. Special programs and trainings will be developed to enable this.

Training of tertiary qualified teachers, Ren Xue teachers, and a pilot school will all happen in Golden Bay, New Zealand according to New Zealand regulatory requirements.  Our goal is that training will be offered online, and with time, a prototype will be developed to enable Ren Xue Education to be shared globally.

Everyone is welcome to be part of the development of Ren Xue Education, and we will need many hands to make this happen.  If you are interested in being part of this work and helping us build Ren Xue Education, we encourage you to take part in these courses with Yuan Tze.

Ren Xue Education Series

Designed as a three-year exploration starting in April 2026, this series will guide us through the heart of Yuan Tze’s transformative vision for
Ren Xue Education.

Year 1 (April 2026): The Foundation
Discover the core philosophy and overarching vision.
This introductory course presents an overview of the Ren Xue Education framework, its goals, guiding principles and structure.  This first course aims to inform participants about the vision for Ren Xue Education and extend an invitation to participate and contribute to its development.

Year 2 (2027): The Structure
Envision what a wisdom-based school looks like in practice.
This second course is when Yuan Tze will begin to explore the core format and content of Ren Xue School Education with us.

Year 3 (2028): The Heart of the Home
Explore how to be a parent within this wise and supportive framework.
This third course will examine the wider ecosystem and the role of the parents and family within Ren Xue Education.

Because the format for this course is very different from retreats, we have outlined what the course is and is not below.

What This Course Is

  • It WILL cover three key areas:  What is Ren Xue Education?, Outline of Ren Xue Education, Structure of Ren Xue Education
  • It WILL include daily lectures, group discussions, and Q&A
  • It IS a classroom style format where participants will be seated on chairs at tables
  • It IS an invitation for active participation to co-create the development of this new pathway
  • It IS the beginning of a collaborative journey into the manifestation of wisdom-based education

    What This Course Is Not

    • It is NOT about learning how to apply Ren Xue for teaching children or parenting
    • It is NOT a retreat and Yuan Gong practice is not part of the daily schedule
    • It is NOT an outline of upcoming Ren Xue Education curriculum
    • There will not be space for sitting on the floor or practice during lectures
    • Accommodation, transportation, meals (except lunch and tea) are NOT provided

There will be daily group discussions for participants to share their ideas, experience, and reflections on what Yuan Tze has shared about his vision. These are scheduled for both in-person and online formats. From these activities, we will begin to understand how people want to be involved, and with that information we can begin mapping a collaborative process for developing Ren Xue Education after the course.

    Ren Xue Education– The Foundation

Discover the core philosophy and overarching vision as Yuan Tze shares The Foundation in April 2026.

This introductory course will take place at Rauhitanga, a beautiful venue that looks out toward the site of the future Ren Xue center in Golden Bay, New Zealand.  We have 70 seats available for the in-person, non-residential course, which will be shared online and made available as an online course afterward. This course is the beginning of something very special. Each day will be a rich rhythm of teaching from Yuan Tze, reflection and dialogue in group discussions, and Q&A to integrate our insights.

It is designed for active participation toward mapping the collaborative process we will need to bring this vision to reality.

    Yuan Tze will share the:

    • origin of and need for wisdom-based education
    • primary goal, core purpose, and guiding principles of Ren Xue Education
    • main components of the system, the stages, approaches, and the role of teachers, students and culture
    • way in which family education will be both the foundation and extension of school education, seeing parents as co-educators
    • structures of wisdom education, its principles & governance, its curriculum, assessment & personnel, and the physical & virtual learning environments
    • operations required to support and iterate

This work is about our future—the future of our children, our families, and our global community. If you feel called to be part of this co-creative endeavor, you are wholeheartedly invited to join us.

    Who is this course for?

Yuan Tze warmly invites everyone who is enthusiastic to co-create the development of this profound educational evolution. We particularly hope you consider joining if:
