The five Xin qualities: Trust, Openness, Love, Gratitude, Gongjing

Dear Ren Xue family,

Happy New Year! How blessed we are to have the opportunity to welcome another brand-new year! Now is a great time to set the foundation for the coming year and I sincerely hope this message can help you with that.

If I ask you, “Are you ready for 2025?”, what would your answer be? Perhaps you would look at the past year and hope that this new year will be devoid of all the rough times you had. What if I ask you, “Are you ready for tomorrow?”, or even “Are you ready for the next minute?”.

Why these questions? Looking at the trajectory of the world, more and more uncertainties can be expected in 2025. Balance will be hard to maintain and easily disrupted. This will be happening on the level of humanity as a whole. The Qifield of the world will become more and more restless and unstable.

How will this affect us, individuals, living in this Qifield? No one can escape the influence of this Qifield. However, this does not mean there is no way to deal with it. We need to recognize that “uncertainty” is a normal part of life. Change is the overarching law of the universe. Everything is constantly changing and developing. Uncertainty is only an issue when we expect things to remain unchanged. It is our survival instinct that makes us afraid of losing what we like or cherish. When something goes well for us, we want it to keep going.

However, that is just not how life goes. Anything that throws life off balance can happen at any time. We can lose what we have overnight, be it health, people, wealth, material possessions. Perhaps it is time to check in with ourselves in the most honest way and face this fear. What exactly are we fearing? What are we trying to hold on to? Why would we allow fear to steal our life?
The truth is: fear only makes us grasp even tighter, instead of allowing us to let go. It drives us to increase our control. We try to control everything, believing it is the way to bring more certainty to life. We even try to control how we feel!

It is important to be ready for whatever the world and our own lives throw at us, so we don’t get torn and battered. How do we get ready? The key is in our heart. Start with acceptance, accepting that change is the reality of life. True acceptance will create an open space in our hearts which will afford trust. We will feel safe to trust that we can flow with life without the need to resist or control.
I would like to encourage you to go into your heart and stay there for as long as you can. When fear arises, your heart holds the key to clearing fear. Your heart is where you can find the strength and wisdom to navigate through all the uncertainties and challenges. Stay in your heart until you find that open space and feel free again.

I wish you readiness for the next moment, the next day, the next year, and the next life, and I am here to help you get ready. Let’s move forward with courage together!
