Details about the online workshop
Date and Time
Sunday, December 20, 2020
9 am – 12:30* pm New Zealand Daylight Time.
If you live in a different time zone, click here to view your local time.
* Please note the new end time of 12:30 pm. The duration of the workshop may extend beyond that end time, depending on the information that Yuan Tze picks up on in the Qifield and the content he feels he needs to convey. If you need to depart before the end of the session, that’s okay. You will have the recording to go back to and the Qi and information will remain the same.
Eastern Hemisphere Program
If you’re in the Eastern Hemisphere we understand that the LIVE sessions take place late in your evenings, such as places like Europe or South Africa, or for the likes of those in Australia, it’s very early in your morning. So, we will also hold an Eastern Hemisphere daytime program where our REN XUE Teachers will deliver three Yuan Gong Practice sessions LIVE during your daytime—a Beginner’s Session, a combined Tian Yuan & Di Yuan practice, and a Ren Yuan practice.
In between, you can watch a RECORDING of Yuan Tze’s session as a group. View the Eastern Hemisphere Program here.
About REN XUE & Yuan Tze
REN XUE is a wisdom system developed to help practitioners achieve greater health, happiness, sense of wellbeing, realization and wisdom. It helps us find inner harmony through practices that elevate body, mind and heart, which in turn helps us find outer harmony – in our personal relationships, with society, and with nature.
Learning from Yuan Tze
Learning from Yuan Tze is a unique experience, with his talks carrying powerful information infused with immense wisdom, love, and compassion. Such information can touch your life directly on a deep level and effect profound changes.
When talking, Yuan Tze uses far more than just the usual verbal communication. He also uses his heart and mind to directly transmit information to your heart and mind.
Yuan Tze’s teachings are in Chinese and are interpreted by his wife, partner, and interpreter, Melissa. For core REN XUE terminology, Melissa will use the original Chinese terms. Translations of these terms can be read here to help further explain each term and their place within REN XUE.
It’s important to remember that REN XUE is a big system and there is a clear path through it with lots of support. Concepts may be mentioned during lectures that you have not yet learned—being relaxed and open to Yuan Tze, and at ease with what you have not yet learned, will best support you to access the teachings.
The system of REN XUE has been developed by Yuan Tze to reflect totality, and as such, the delivery of the teachings is unique from other learning experiences. One of the treasures of Yuan Tze’s teaching style is that it allows the participant to quietly contemplate the possibilities that lie beyond absolute answers. Compared to how we receive most of our information online these days, some may experience this as slow-paced or repetitive.
There are two main things that you can do to reach optimal results.
- Be in your heart
Open your heart and listen to the teaching with your heart. Connect with Yuan Tze’s heart so he can exchange Qi and information with you smoothly. Unify with the Qifield and take everything into your heart. You can read more about heart-to-heart transmission here.
- Access the Qifield
A nourishing and powerful Qifield will be built for the event. This Qifield is to support all the participants so everyone can get the most out of the event. Opening your heart and unifying with the Qifield can help you get the most out of it.
Throughout the event, the Qifield will continue to change, and the change comes from the heart and consciousness of every participant. In other words, it is up to all participants to continue to uplift and strengthen the Qifield for the benefit of all.
Hear directly from Yuan Tze in this beautiful (22 mins) as he talks about his early years.
About Yuan Gong
The practice works on the body, but also on emotional, physical, and mental levels. It is simple to learn and easy to practice and can be adapted for any physical condition. Comprising of nine different methods, Yuan Gong has been designed to be effective even when the practice is brief. Read more about the nine methods of Yuan Gong here.
Event Activities & Workshop Program
There are three different activities to experience within the event:
1. Yuan Gong Practice Session (pre-workshop)
Prior to your session with Yuan Tze, you will have the opportunity to join a Yuan Gong practice session with teachers from around the globe. These optional one-hour practice sessions will start two hours before Yuan Tze’s talk. The sessions available to choose from will include Tian Yuan, Di Yuan, Ren Yuan, and Xia Yuan.
If you’re new to Yuan Gong, we will also have a group for beginners to learn some of the Yuan Gong supplementary exercises.
2. Yuan Tze’s workshop
As a guide, Yuan Tze’s session focuses on the following key activities:
• Open the session and build the Qifield with Yuan Tze’s Heart Prayer
• Deliver teachings on Jue Cha
• End with a group healing
3. Tea and Qi session (post-workshop)
To keep the connection going beyond the workshop, some of our REN XUE Teachers will be hosting virtual Tea and Qi catch up sessions via Zoom. This session is an opportunity for you to connect and share with others on the journey of life cultivation.

The base price is NZD$80 per person, and the couple and family rate is NZD$140 for two people viewing from the same home.
If affordability is a barrier to you attending, we are also offering a discounted rate of NZD$60 to help make the event accessible to you. However, if NZD$60 is still a barrier to your participation, please contact Chris at email@example.com before Tuesday, December 15 (NZT) and we will arrange something with you.
Please be aware that we are not able to consider any applications for further discounts to the Financial Assistance fee between Wednesday, October 14 and Tuesday, October 20 (NZT). To avoid disappointment, please email Chris well in advance of the event.

REN XUE International is a charity based in New Zealand, and as such direct bank transfer payments made from outside of New Zealand will incur transfer fees from your bank or online transfer.
Ways to Pay
You have the option of paying in one of four ways. In some instances, REN XUE International incurs transaction fees and as such, we have indicated below our preferred methods of payment. We would be grateful if you were able to please consider these fees when making payment.
1. Direct Bank Transfer (NZ only)
For those paying from within New Zealand, a direct debit transfer is our preferred option. Using this method means REN XUE International does not incur any transaction fees. We will email you bank transfer details after you fill in this form.
Please pay the full amount upon completing your online registration. The bank details outlined below will be emailed to you. Your registration is not complete until payment is received.
Payment Reference: We’ll email you a unique reference number.
This is very important. We need this reference to know the payment is from you.

2. Credit Card
Credit card payment can be made directly on the registration form and is the simplest way to pay from outside New Zealand. This payment option is via the STRIPE payment gateway. It is secure and safe with regard to your personal card details.
We are now offering PayPal as an option for people to pay via a transfer or credit card payment. Please note if you wish to pay via credit card, we encourage you to use the STRIPE payment option, as this incurs a lower transaction fee for REN XUE International, compared to PayPal’s credit card transaction fees.
4. Alternative Payment Options
If you need an alternative payment option such as invoice or payment plan, please contact our Events Coordinator, Chris Dunaway, on firstname.lastname@example.org
Questions you may have
FAQ on Joining the Online Retreat
What is Live Streaming? How will I watch?
Live streaming provides a way to watch the event from your home on your computer or mobile device (phone, iPad, etc). You can watch sessions live on Livestream, or access them later at your convenience.
Shortly before the event details on how to access Livestream will be shared with registrants, including the password to login and some supportive tips and pointers.
What if I live in a different time zone?
The live event will take place on:
Sunday, December 20, 2020
9 am – 12:30 pm New Zealand Time.
If you live in a different time zone, click here to view your local time.
You can watch the event in three different ways:
- Live, as it happens
- Delayed – if you start a session that is already underway you can choose to start from the beginning and not what is being broadcasted Live
- Recordings, after the fact – this is a good option for those in very different time zones. All previously-recorded sessions will be available to you.
Can we stream part of the event, and pay part of the fee?
What if I decide later that I don’t want to attend? Can I get my money back?
What if I’m having technical troubles with the stream?
What if I have slow internet speed at home?
Is it OK to pay for one registration and share it with others?
We are asking that each person who wishes to watch registers separately. We are committed to keeping costs as affordable as we can for everyone, and we need to be able to cover our expenses. To help with this, we are offering couple and family rates of NZD$140 for two people joining the online workshop together.
